On August 25, 26, and 27 Jerry and his excavator took the remains of the pink house to the landfill. Here’s some pics:

Early morning June 1st, 2009 an intentionally set fire spread from our neighbor's basement to our home. Everyone was able to get out OK, but the 100-year-old "pink house" of Basin Road (along with all our belongings) was destroyed. This blog documents the process we've gone through since that night.-
