The local paper ran an article this morning, following-up on the arson. When they asked me how it felt when I found out it was arson I was quoted saying:
“It felt like someone punched me in the stomach”

Early morning June 1st, 2009 an intentionally set fire spread from our neighbor's basement to our home. Everyone was able to get out OK, but the 100-year-old "pink house" of Basin Road (along with all our belongings) was destroyed. This blog documents the process we've gone through since that night.-
